Conector coaxial IEC ShiverPeaks BS85322-10G

The ShiverPeaks BS85322-10G coaxial connector is an IEC-type connector supplied in a pack of 10 pieces for use in audio and video signal installations. Designed for standard IEC cable terminations, this connector supports reliable electrical contact and consistent signal transmission in domestic and professional AV setups. The product's construction focuses on durability and ease of installation to maintain stable connections for antennas, set-top boxes, televisions and related equipment.

Advantages

This IEC coaxial connector offers stable mechanical fit and consistent electrical contact to reduce signal loss and interference. Supplied in a multi-piece pack, it allows multiple installations or replacements without the need to purchase individual units. The connector's material and build are selected to withstand repeated connection cycles and typical handling during installation, providing long-term usability in wall-mounted, rack or consumer electronics environments.

Suitable for

• Antenna and terrestrial TV connections
• Set-top boxes and digital receivers
• Television and AV equipment cabling
• Replacement of worn or damaged IEC connectors

Key specifications

• Connector type: IEC coaxial
• Pack quantity: 10 pieces
• Application: audio and video signal transmission
• Compatibility: standard IEC female/male sockets used in consumer and professional AV devices
• Construction: metal contact elements with insulating housing

How to use

Prepare the coaxial cable by stripping the outer jacket and folding back the braid as required for the connector type. Insert the cable into the connector body so that the central conductor engages the pin contact and the shield makes reliable contact with the outer sleeve. Secure the connector according to its specific fixing method — push-fit, screw or crimp — ensuring mechanical stability and good electrical continuity. After installation, test the connection with the intended AV equipment to verify signal integrity.

Recommendations

For best results, use the connector with properly prepared cables of the appropriate diameter and ensure the central conductor and shield are free of corrosion or damage. When installing multiple connectors, keep cable runs and joints as short as feasible to minimise signal attenuation, and avoid tight bends near the connection points.
