How to use

Strip the outer jacket of the drop cable and prepare the fibre according to standard fusion-splicing procedures. Clean and cleave the fibres, then perform fusion splicing between the network drop fibre and the 900 µm pigtail. Place spliced fibres into a splice protector and secure them inside a splice tray or closure. Route the 1 m SC/UPC-terminated pigtails to the patch panel or customer outlet and insert the SC connectors into corresponding adaptors or sockets. Verify optical continuity and loss with an OTDR or power meter as required.
