Descascador de tomate e legumes WMF Gourmet com lâmina oscilante serrilhada, aço inoxidável Cromargan, prateado

Tomato skins can be notoriously tricky—too tough for a standard peeler, yet too delicate to risk crushing the fruit. The WMF Gourmet Tomato and Vegetable Peeler solves this with a micro-serrated swivel blade that grips slippery skins and glides through them without tearing. Whether you are preparing tomatoes for sauce, peeling ripe peaches for a tart, or removing thin layers from cucumbers and carrots, this peeler delivers clean, effortless results every time.

Who is it for

Home cooks who value precision and durability in their kitchen tools. It is ideal for anyone who regularly works with soft-skinned produce like tomatoes, kiwis, or nectarines, as well as everyday vegetables. Left- and right-handed users will appreciate the symmetrical design and swivel head that follows the contours of the food.

Main features

• Micro-serrated blade made from WMF's proprietary Cromargan® 18/10 stainless steel—exceptionally sharp, rust-resistant, and acid-resistant.
• Swivel (pendulum) blade adjusts to the shape of the produce, minimizing waste and effort.
• Ergonomic handle crafted from the same Cromargan® steel, providing a secure, comfortable grip even when wet.
• Integrated hanging eyelet for convenient storage on a hook or rail.
• Dishwasher safe for easy cleaning; the material is odorless and tasteless, so it won't transfer flavors.
• Part of the WMF Gourmet series, designed for everyday professional-grade performance.

Tips

For best results, hold the peeler at a slight angle and pull gently toward you, letting the swivel blade do the work. The serrated edge is perfect for tomatoes, but it also excels at peeling thin-skinned fruits like peaches and plums. After use, rinse under running water or place in the dishwasher. Hang it by the eyelet to keep it within easy reach and protect the blade.
