Contacto ótico de janela e porta HomeMatic HmIP-SWDO-A branco, contacto magnético sem fios para janelas/portas

HomeMatic HmIP-SWDO-A White is a wireless optical magnetic contact designed to monitor the opening and closing of windows and doors. The compact white sensor detects changes in position and transmits status updates to HomeMatic IP systems, enabling integration with alarm functions, notifications and automation scenes. The device is suitable for unobtrusive installation on standard frames and sashes and operates without wiring, simplifying retrofit installation in homes and offices.

Advantages

The optical magnetic contact provides reliable detection of open/closed states with low maintenance due to wireless operation and battery power. Its compact white housing blends with most window and door frames, and the device supports straightforward pairing with HomeMatic IP gateways for centralized monitoring. Installation is non-invasive, and the sensor is designed for energy-efficient operation to extend battery life.

Suitable for

• Monitoring household windows and balcony doors
• Securing entrance doors and internal doors in offices
• Triggering alarm events and push notifications in smart home setups
• Activating automation scenes when windows/doors open or close (ventilation, lighting, HVAC)

Key specifications

• Wireless communication compatible with HomeMatic IP systems
• Optical magnetic detection for open/closed state recognition
• Compact white plastic housing suitable for visible frame mounting
• Battery-powered operation for wireless installation
• Designed for retrofit installation on standard window and door frames

How to use

Mount the sensor and the magnetic counterpart on the window or door frame and sash following the alignment marks so the magnetic contact closes when the window or door is shut. Pair the device with a HomeMatic IP gateway according to the gateway’s device inclusion procedure to enable status reporting and event handling. After pairing, configure required alarm responses, notifications or automation rules in the HomeMatic app or central controller. Monitor battery status periodically through the system and replace batteries when indicated.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, place the sensor on clean, dry surfaces and ensure the two parts align within the recommended gap specified by the manufacturer. Avoid mounting on metal surfaces that may interfere with wireless signal strength; if signal issues occur, consider a different mounting location or add a HomeMatic IP repeater. Test the contact after installation and include it in routine system checks.
