The smoke detectors are powered by 2x AA batteries each, offering up to 10 years of battery life. The Access Point connects to your router via Ethernet and enables smart home integration and app control through the Homematic IP app. Ceiling mounting is simple with included screws and adhesive pads. This starter set is ideal for homeowners looking to enhance their home safety with a modern, interconnected smoke alarm system.

Advantages

Wireless interconnection of multiple detectors ensures that when one alarm triggers, all alarms sound, providing early warning throughout the home.
