Ficha Cinch (RCA) ShiverPeaks 6 mm metal, modelo 52000-R, vermelho

Metal cinch (RCA) connector ShiverPeaks model 52000-R in red is designed for 6 mm cable diameter and offers a standard RCA interface for transmitting analog audio and composite video signals. The connector features a metal housing that provides mechanical strength and improved shielding compared with plastic alternatives. It is intended for assembly into custom cables, repairs of existing leads and installations where a robust, color-coded RCA plug is required.

Advantages

The metal shell increases durability and provides better electromagnetic shielding, while the red color provides clear channel identification. Its construction suits repeated plug cycles and mechanical stress encountered in home or professional AV setups. The 6 mm diameter specification ensures a secure fit for compatible cable jackets and internal conductor arrangements.

Suitable for

• DIY cable assembly and custom AV cable builds
• Repairing damaged RCA leads
• Home theater and hi-fi connections requiring color-coded plugs
• Small-scale professional AV installations and patching

Key specifications

• Connector type: RCA (male)
• Housing material: metal
• Color: red (channel identification)
• Compatible cable outer diameter: approximately 6 mm
• Signal type: analog audio and composite video

How to use

Strip the cable outer jacket and prepare the center conductor and shield according to the connector's assembly design. Slide any supplied ferrules or sleeves onto the cable, solder or crimp the center contact and attach the shield to the outer body as required by this model. After assembling the internal contacts, secure the metal housing and verify mechanical retention. Plug the assembled connector into the corresponding RCA socket and check signal continuity and polarity before permanent installation.

Recommendations

Use appropriate soldering equipment and heat control to avoid damaging cable insulation or connector plating. Select cables with outer diameter close to 6 mm for optimal fit and reliable mechanical contact. For best signal integrity, ensure proper shielding termination and avoid excessive bending near the connector.
