How to use

Install the power supply into the designated bay of the compatible Alcatel chassis or network device following the device manufacturer’s mechanical guidance. When used in redundant configurations, ensure the remaining power modules provide sufficient capacity before removing any unit. For hot-plug replacement, slide the module into the bay until it seats firmly and engage any retention latch; for hot-swap removal, release the latch and extract the module while the system remains powered. Verify device LEDs and system management indicators after installation to confirm proper operation.

Recommendations

Operate the power supply within the ambient temperature and humidity ranges specified by the host device. Maintain unobstructed airflow around the chassis and avoid exposure to liquid, dust, or corrosive environments. Use only compatible equipment and follow ESD precautions during handling. For critical systems, implement redundant power arrangements and periodic verification of module health through system logs and status indicators.
