Guia de cabos Extralink Pilot 6 mm 150 m fibra ótica FRP amarelo

The Extralink Pilot 6mm 150m cable pulling rod is a professional-grade glass fibre FRP tool designed for efficient installation and routing of cables. With a 6 mm diameter and 150 m length, the rod is wound on a practical rack that simplifies transport, storage and unrolling on site. The bright yellow protective PE coating improves visibility and sliding performance, while the guiding head at the end facilitates accurate insertion into conduits and ducts.

Advantages

The FRP glass fibre core offers high elasticity and resistance to bending and tearing, ensuring long service life under repeated use. A powder-coated blue rack with a manual brake secures the drum during operation and prevents unintended unwinding. The PE outer layer protects the fibre from abrasion and provides low friction for smoother pulling. The rack includes an eyelet for guided deployment and a structure that doubles as a transport stand.

Suitable for

• Pulling and routing telecommunications and network cables through ducts and conduits
• Installing fibre optic or copper cable in buildings and outdoor cable ducts
• Maintenance and extension of existing cable runs in commercial and industrial sites
• Use by installers, technicians and utility crews for long-distance cable feeding

Key specifications

• Material: glass fibre (FRP) core with polyethylene (PE) protective coating
• Diameter: 6 mm
• Length: 150 m
• Colour: bright yellow for enhanced visibility
• Delivery format: wound on a powder-coated metal rack with manual brake
• Includes guiding head at the fibre end and an eyelet for aligned deployment
• Rack finish: powder coated (blue) for corrosion resistance

How to use

Place the rack on a stable surface and release the manual brake when ready to unwind. Feed the guiding head through the duct or conduit until it reaches the destination. Attach the cable securely to the guiding head following recommended pulling practices, then pull the fibre rod back while guiding the cable. Re-engage the brake to stop unwinding during pauses and wind the fibre back onto the drum after use to protect the rod and maintain organization.

Recommendations

Inspect the rod and protective coating for damage before each use. Avoid sharp bends beyond the rod's bending radius and do not exceed recommended pulling tensions for the cable being installed. Use appropriate personal protective equipment and follow local safety regulations when working in confined spaces or near live installations.
