Hama 00205222 conector coaxial tipo F 1 unid.

The Hama coaxial connector F-type 1 pc is a single-piece adapter designed to connect F-type plugs to coaxial cable configurations for audio and video signal transmission. Its compact silver housing provides a standard F-type interface on one side and a coaxial connection on the other, enabling simple insertion and stable contact for use with television, set-top boxes, radio and other RF equipment. Supplied individually in a hanging box, the adapter is intended for cases where a single reliable connection is required.

Advantages

This F-type coaxial connector offers a standardized F interface that ensures compatibility with common TV and satellite cables. The metal silver finish provides mechanical durability and reliable shielding against interference. Its single-piece construction simplifies installation and reduces the risk of loose contacts, while the compact size makes it easy to use in confined spaces behind equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting television or set-top box antennas to coaxial cable runs
• Adapting satellite or cable TV cables to devices with F-type inputs
• Temporary repairs or single-point replacements of damaged F or coax connectors
• Use in home AV setups, radio receivers and similar RF applications

Key specifications

• Connector type (one end): F-type male/female interface compatible with standard F plugs
• Connector type (other end): coaxial cable connection
• Quantity: 1 piece
• Colour: silver metal finish
• Packaging: hanging box

How to use

Ensure both cable ends and device connectors are clean and free of damage. Insert the F-type plug into the adapter until it seats securely, then connect the coaxial cable at the opposite end following the cable manufacturer’s instructions. Tighten any threaded connections by hand; if required, use a suitable wrench briefly to ensure a firm fit without over-tightening. After installation, test the signal source to confirm a correct and stable connection.

Recommendations

For best signal quality, use short, well-shielded coaxial cables and avoid sharp bends near the connector. Inspect connectors periodically for corrosion or wear and replace the adapter if mechanical damage or signal degradation is observed.
