Lenovo ThinkCentre Neo 50q Tiny Gen5 is a compact business desktop that delivers high performance in a small form factor. Equipped with an Intel Core 7 240H (10C/16T) processor, 16 GB DDR5 RAM and a 512 GB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD, the system runs Windows 11 Pro and supports additional storage and memory expansion. The Tiny can be mounted in a Tiny-in-One display for an integrated workspace and includes a Lenovo USB keyboard and optical USB mouse.

Advantages

The Tiny Gen5 combines a high-performance H-series Intel processor with DDR5 memory and PCIe 4.0 storage for responsive multitasking and fast data access. Its extensive connectivity — including DisplayPort 1.4b, HDMI 2.1, front USB-C and USB-A Gen2 ports, and multiple rear USB ports — supports diverse peripherals and dual-display setups. Built-in security features (TPM 2.0 and Kensington lock), a compact 1.13 kg chassis and energy certifications make it suitable for business and institutional deployments.

If required, install additional memory or an extra M.2 SSD by opening the chassis following Lenovo service instructions. Configure Windows 11 Pro with your company or school account and connect to wired or wireless networks via the Ethernet port or Wi‑Fi 7 adapter.

Recommendations

Place the Tiny on a stable surface or mount it behind a compatible Tiny-in-One display to save desk space. For sustained heavy workloads, ensure adequate ventilation around the chassis and consider using 64 GB RAM and a high-capacity NVMe drive to maximise performance. Keep firmware and drivers up to date and use the TPM 2.0 and Kensington lock for improved device security.
