The HAK 8XSC/APC IP55 combines high-density termination with rugged protection. Its pre-installed SC/APC adapters save installation time and ensure low-loss, high-return-loss connections. The IP55 rating means you can mount it in hallways, basements, or outdoor cabinets without worrying about dust or moisture. The integrated splice tray and fiber management keep your splices organized and protected, reducing the risk of bend-induced loss.

Ideal use cases

• FTTH deployments in apartment buildings and condominiums
• Small business fiber termination points
• Indoor wall outlets for fiber-to-the-room applications
• Transition points between outdoor drop cables and indoor riser cables
• Network demarcation points in sheltered outdoor locations

Good to know

This outlet is designed for use with SC/APC connectors, which are standard in many FTTx networks due to their low back reflection. It supports both fusion splicing and mechanical splicing, giving you flexibility in the field. The UV-resistant plastic housing ensures long-term durability even when exposed to sunlight. For installation, ensure proper cable strain relief and maintain the minimum bend radius of your fiber.
