How to use

Switch off the circuit breaker supplying power to the installation before beginning work. Install the insert into a compatible Gira System 55 frame and secure it according to the frame manufacturer’s mounting instructions. Connect the supply conductors to the socket terminals ensuring correct live, neutral and earth connections and proper tightening of terminal screws. After wiring, restore the protective cover/frame and switch the circuit breaker back on. Confirm correct operation by plugging in a suitable appliance and testing grounding continuity if required.

Recommendations

Use only within suitable System 55 frames and flush-mounted wall boxes sized for the modular insert. Ensure installation and electrical connections are performed by a qualified electrician and comply with local wiring regulations. Do not expose the socket to moisture or mechanical damage; select an appropriate frame and cover for wet or high-traffic environments.
