Módulo térmico Lenovo 5H40Y23332 para sistemas Lenovo (SUNON)

The Thermal Module Lenovo 5H40Y23332 for Lenovo systems (SUNON) is a replacement cooling component designed to restore or improve heat dissipation in compatible Lenovo laptops and small form-factor devices. Built with SUNON cooling components under Lenovo specifications, the module replaces an existing thermal assembly to maintain stable operating temperatures and prevent thermal throttling or unexpected shutdowns. The unit is intended for repair, maintenance, or upgrade scenarios where the original cooling solution is damaged, degraded, or insufficient.

Advantages

This thermal module uses SUNON fan and heatsink technology matched to Lenovo system layouts to provide effective airflow and heat transfer. It is manufactured to fit the original mounting points and thermal interfaces, enabling straightforward replacement without major modifications. The design reduces heat buildup on processors and other heat-generating components, helping to maintain performance stability under sustained loads. Compatibility with specific Lenovo chassis ensures appropriate clearance and connector compatibility for power and control.

Suitable for

• Repairing Lenovo laptops or compact desktops where the original thermal module has failed
• Restoring cooling performance after fan wear or heatsink damage
• Routine maintenance or part replacement during system refurbishment
• Replacing noisy or underperforming cooling assemblies to reduce thermal throttling

Key specifications

• Cooling components: fan and heatsink assembly with SUNON-manufactured fan
• Form factor: designed for specific Lenovo system chassis and mounting points
• Thermal interface: designed to mate with processor and other heat sources in compatible Lenovo systems
• Connector type: electrical connector compatible with Lenovo system fan header and control
• Material: metal heatsink elements with plastic fan housing

How to use

Power down the system, disconnect external power and remove the battery if applicable before beginning installation. Access the internal compartment according to the device service manual and remove the existing thermal module by detaching screws and disconnecting the fan cable. Clean old thermal paste from the processor and contact surfaces, apply a thin, even layer of new thermal interface compound, and position the replacement module so that it aligns with mounting points and screw holes. Secure the module with the original screws, reconnect the fan cable, reassemble the device, and power on to verify fan operation and temperature behavior. Follow the Lenovo service documentation for torque specifications and reassembly order.

Recommendations

Use this replacement module only with compatible Lenovo systems and follow manufacturer service guidance. When replacing thermal assemblies, use quality thermal paste and ensure contact surfaces are clean. Verify firmware and fan control settings in system diagnostics after installation. Periodic cleaning of vents and fan blades will extend module life and maintain cooling efficiency.
