Ponto de acesso exterior NETGEAR Insight Cloud Managed WiFi 6 AX1800 Dual-Band (WAX610Y) 1800 Mbit/s Branco Power over Ethernet (PoE)

Equipped with WiFi 6 (802.11ax) technology, the NETGEAR WAX610Y is an outdoor dual-band access point designed to deliver business-grade wireless coverage and increased connection capacity for small and medium businesses. The unit supports combined throughput up to 1.8 Gbps across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, is compatible with WiFi 6 and earlier devices, and includes Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) with 2.5Gb/1Gb/100Mb LAN speeds. The WAX610Y is rated IP55 and operates in temperatures from -20 °C to 60 °C, providing resilience against sunlight, cold, snow, rain, hail and humidity.

Advantages

The WAX610Y delivers up to 40% higher throughput and increased device connection capacity compared with previous generations, along with features such as MU-MIMO, OFDMA, beamforming and 1024-QAM for improved performance and roaming. It supports advanced security including WPA3 and is compatible with NETGEAR Insight for centralized cloud management and remote monitoring, while also offering an intuitive local GUI. A single PoE-enabled Ethernet port supports multi-gigabit speeds for flexible deployment.

Connect the device to a PoE-capable switch or injector that supports the required Ethernet speed (100/1000/2500 Mbit/s) to provide power and network access. Configure the access point locally via the built-in GUI or centrally through NETGEAR Insight for remote monitoring and management. Apply appropriate SSID, encryption (WPA3 recommended) and network settings according to your site requirements.

Recommendations

For optimal outdoor performance, install the access point away from large metal objects and sources of interference, ensure correct orientation and secure mounting, and use a suitably rated PoE source. Regularly update firmware via NETGEAR Insight or local management to maintain security and stability.
