Prensa-cabo DeLOCK 60358 cinzento metal plástico

The DeLOCK 60358 cable gland provides a watertight and dustproof feed-through for cables and electrical conduits. Made of metal and plastic with a grey finish, the single-piece design secures cable entry points to enclosures and helps maintain environmental protection ratings.

Advantages

The screw-on strain relief fixes the cable and prevents excessive bending, keeping cables in place during vibration and preventing accidental disconnection. The IP68 rating ensures increased protection against dust and moisture. The robust construction of metal and plastic offers long-term mechanical stability for industrial environments.

Suitable for

• Automation equipment
• Robotics systems
• Industrial machinery
• Enclosures requiring IP68 cable feed-throughs

How to use

Drill or use an appropriate knock-out in the enclosure wall sized for the gland. Insert the cable through the gland and screw the strain relief onto the housing to secure the cable. Tighten to the required torque so the sealing elements compress evenly and form a watertight fit. Verify the cable position and ensure the strain relief holds the cable without excessive bending.

Recommendations

Choose the correct hole diameter and torque settings for the enclosure material and cable outer diameter. Inspect seals periodically and replace the gland if seals show wear or if the protective rating is compromised.
