Suitable for

• Routing round cables through housings and enclosures
• Protecting cable entries in automation and machine systems
• Outdoor or wet environments requiring IP68 protection

How to use

Drill or prepare an appropriately sized hole in the housing or enclosure. Insert the cable gland with its seal into the hole, feed the round cable or conduit through the gland, and tighten according to the manufacturer's guidance or until the seal compresses to form a watertight fit. Use appropriate tools to avoid over-tightening and damaging the plastic body or seal.

Recommendations

Check the cable diameter against the gland's inner size before installation and replace seals if they show signs of wear. For permanent outdoor installations, verify compatibility with the enclosure material and re-check the seal periodically to maintain IP68 protection.
