Prensa-cabos DeLOCK 60219 cinzento plástico 10 unid.

The DELOCK 60219 cable gland is a set of 10 grey plastic glands designed to provide secure cable entry and exit for electrical enclosures and equipment. Manufactured from durable plastic, these cable glands deliver strain relief and protect cable connections from dust and moisture, helping to maintain reliable electrical contacts and prolong the service life of wiring in both domestic and light industrial installations.

Advantages

These grey plastic cable glands offer straightforward installation and consistent mechanical protection for cables without requiring specialized tools. Their robust plastic construction is corrosion-resistant and lightweight, providing dependable strain relief while reducing the risk of abrasion at panel and enclosure entry points. Supplied as a pack of 10, they allow for multiple installations or replacements and ensure uniformity across junctions and equipment panels.

Suitable for

• Sealing and strain relief for low-voltage cables entering electrical enclosures
• Use in control panels, junction boxes and small distribution cabinets
• Protecting cables in household electrical projects and light commercial installations
• Replacement of worn or damaged cable entry fittings in existing equipment

Key specifications

• Material: durable plastic
• Colour: grey
• Pack contents: 10 cable glands
• Function: cable entry sealing and strain relief
• Environmental protection: resistance to dust and moisture (mechanical sealing intended; verify enclosure rating in final assembly)

How to use

Drill or prepare an appropriately sized hole in the enclosure wall or panel, then insert the cable gland and secure it according to the gland design (threaded nut or snap-in, depending on model). Pass the cable through the gland, position it to provide the desired length of slack, and tighten the gland components to form a firm seal and strain relief around the cable. Ensure the gland is seated correctly and that the cable insulation is not pinched during installation. Verify the assembly for mechanical security and, if required, test for environmental sealing as part of the enclosure certification process.

Recommendations

Select a gland size appropriate for the cable outer diameter and confirm compatibility with the enclosure panel thickness. For installations exposed to prolonged UV, chemical agents or heavy mechanical stress, consider higher-rated materials or specialized glands. Regularly inspect installed glands for physical damage or loosening and replace any units showing wear to maintain strain relief and environmental protection.
