DeLOCK 60227 grey plastic cable gland is a pack of 10 pieces designed to provide a simple and reliable solution for cable entry and strain relief in cable management applications. Manufactured from plastic and finished in grey, these cable glands are intended to protect cable connections from dust and moisture while keeping installation tidy. The set supports multiple installations where organized routing and mechanical protection of cables are required.

Advantages

The DeLOCK 60227 cable gland offers easy installation and consistent performance across multiple units in the pack. Its plastic construction provides corrosion resistance and lightweight handling, while the grey colour blends with many enclosures and cable trays. Supplied as a set of 10 pieces, it simplifies procurement for projects that require several identical cable entry points.

Suitable for

• Cable entry and strain relief in equipment enclosures
• Internal and sheltered external installations where dust and splash protection is needed
• Organizing cables in control cabinets, junction boxes, and cable trays
• Small electrical or electronic projects requiring multiple identical glands

Key specifications

• Material: Plastic
• Colour: Grey
• Pack quantity: 10 pieces
• Application: Cable entry, strain relief and protection against dust and moisture

How to use

Select an appropriate cutout or drill a hole in the enclosure sized to the cable gland's threaded section. Insert the gland through the hole and secure it according to the enclosure and gland design, ensuring a proper seal around the cable. Route the cable through the gland, then tighten or secure the gland components to provide strain relief and maintain protection against dust and moisture. Verify that the cable is not under tension and that the gland is seated evenly to maintain the protective function.

Recommendations

For best results, match the gland size to the cable diameter, avoid over-tightening plastic components, and use in environments consistent with plastic material properties. For outdoor use, consider additional sealing measures if prolonged UV exposure or extreme temperatures are expected.
