The DeLOCK 60345 cable gland is made of durable black plastic and provides a watertight seal for cable and conduit entry points. Designed for simple installation, it secures cables against dust and moisture while offering additional protection through an integrated strain relief spiral that prevents excessive bending of flexible cables.

Advantages

The cable gland features IP68 protection against dust and water and a robust plastic construction suitable for industrial environments. Its bend protection spiral provides strain relief for moving parts and reduces the risk of cable damage. The product ships as a single piece per pack for straightforward use.

Suitable for

• Automation equipment
• Robotics and moving machinery
• Electrical enclosures and junction boxes
• Industrial cable installations requiring dust and waterproof sealing

How to use

Drill or prepare an appropriately sized hole in the housing, insert the cable gland and tighten it to form a secure seal around the cable or conduit. Feed the cable through the gland so the bend protection spiral surrounds the cable where movement or bending might occur. Ensure the gland is fully seated to maintain the IP68 seal.

Recommendations

For reliable sealing and strain relief, select a gland size that matches the cable diameter and check the housing thread or hole dimension before installation. Inspect the gland periodically for wear in high-movement applications and replace if the spiral or sealing surfaces show damage.
