Rack autónomo EFB Elektronik PRO-4282GR.P1

The EFB Elektronik PRO-4282GR.P1 is a freestanding 42U server rack engineered for secure and efficient equipment housing in office, data center, and industrial environments. Finished in grey with an IP20 protection rating, this rack balances accessibility and basic protection against solid objects while providing a professional appearance. The structure supports heavy loads with a maximum static weight capacity of 1360 kg and is sized to accommodate standard 19-inch mounting equipment.

Advantages

The PRO-4282GR.P1 combines a high load capacity and a standard 42U mounting space to offer stable support for servers, network switches, patch panels and other 19-inch devices. Its freestanding design allows flexible placement without the need for additional wall mounting. The IP20 rating ensures basic protection in controlled indoor environments, while the grey finish gives a neutral, unobtrusive look that fits most technical rooms.

Suitable for

• Housing 19-inch servers and rack-mount networking equipment
• Small to medium data centers and server rooms
• Telecommunications and network distribution cabinets
• Laboratory or workshop installations with controlled indoor conditions

Key specifications

• Mounting height: 42U
• Maximum static load capacity: 1360 kg
• Protection rating: IP20 (indoor use, protection against solid objects larger than 12 mm)
• Finish color: grey
• Compatible with standard 19-inch rack-mount equipment
• Freestanding cabinet design for floor installation

How to use

Place the rack on a level, solid floor surface and position it to allow sufficient airflow and access to rear and front panels. Install equipment in the 19-inch mounting rails, observing weight distribution recommendations by mounting heavier units towards the bottom of the rack to maintain stability. Use appropriate rack-mount screws and cage nuts that match the equipment and rail type. Ensure the environment meets indoor protection requirements consistent with an IP20-rated enclosure.

Recommendations

For safe and reliable operation, distribute equipment weight evenly and secure heavy devices low in the rack. Keep the installation in a dry, dust-controlled indoor environment and provide adequate ventilation or active cooling as required by installed equipment. Regularly inspect fastenings and grounding connections to maintain structural integrity and electrical safety.
