Rato Evoluent VM4S Office USB Type-A

The Evoluent VM4S Office USB Type-A is an ergonomic wired office mouse designed to support a natural upright hand posture and reduce wrist strain. With six programmable buttons, a sculpted thumb rest, adjustable laser sensor and LED indicators for pointer speed, this black USB Type-A mouse is intended for comfortable, efficient daily office use.

Advantages

The patented vertical shape helps keep the hand in a neutral upright position to generally avoid forearm twisting, which many medical professionals and ergonomists have reported reduces discomfort and wrist pain. The sculpted form and reshaped thumb rest improve comfort compared with earlier models. Two accessible thumb buttons and on-mouse pointer speed controls provide extended functionality without releasing the grip.

Suitable for

• Office work and general computer tasks
• Users seeking an ergonomic mouse to reduce wrist or forearm twisting
• Data entry, browsing and productivity applications
• Users who need programmable buttons for custom shortcuts

How to use

Connect the mouse to a computer using the USB Type-A cable. Position your hand in the natural upright posture supported by the mouse so the forearm remains less twisted. Use the thumb rest and the two thumb buttons for navigation and assigned functions. Adjust pointer speed directly on the mouse using the side controls; LEDs visible through the chrome thumb rest indicate the selected speed (XL, LO, MD, HI). Install the Evoluent Mouse Manager driver on Windows to program the six buttons and access additional settings.

Recommendations

Use the Evoluent VM4S as your primary office mouse and install the Evoluent Mouse Manager to assign frequently used shortcuts to the programmable buttons. Keep pointer speed at a comfortable level indicated by the LEDs and take regular breaks to maintain ergonomic benefits.
