Cabo de rede Dätwyler Cables S/FTP Patch Cat6 preto 20 m

The Dätwyler Cables S/FTP Patch cable Cat6 Black 20m networking cable is a shielded category 6 patch lead designed for structured cabling and point-to-point device connections. With 20 metres of length and an S/FTP shielding scheme, this black cable supports reliable Gigabit Ethernet and high-speed data transfer across local networks while reducing alien crosstalk and electromagnetic interference. The cable is intended for horizontal cabling paths, patch panels, switches and workstation connections where consistent signal integrity is required.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction provides overall foil shielding plus individual foil shields for each twisted pair, improving immunity to external interference and limiting pair-to-pair crosstalk. As a Cat6 patch cable, it meets category performance requirements for frequencies up to 250 MHz and is suitable for Gigabit Ethernet applications. The 20 m length offers flexibility in routing between equipment racks, patching points and end devices without excessive signal loss when installed according to standards. The black jacket gives a low-visibility aesthetic for installations where appearance matters.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches to patch panels and wall outlets in offices
• Linking desktop computers, printers and networked devices to LAN ports
• Structured cabling runs in server rooms and communications closets
• Temporary or permanent network extensions where a 20 m reach is required

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 (meets Cat6 performance up to 250 MHz)
• Shielding: S/FTP — overall foil shield with individually foiled pairs
• Length: 20 metres
• Colour: Black
• Connector type: RJ45 to RJ45 (8P8C)
• Suitable for: Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-T) and general LAN data transmission

How to use

Uncoil the Dätwyler S/FTP Cat6 cable carefully to avoid kinks and follow the intended cable path between devices. Plug RJ45 connectors into compatible Ethernet ports on switches, patch panels or end devices until the connector clicks. Avoid sharp bends and maintain the manufacturer’s recommended minimum bend radius to preserve shielding and pair geometry. When routing alongside power cables, keep separation to reduce potential interference even though the S/FTP design improves immunity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, verify that connected hardware supports Cat6 performance and that terminations or patch panels are installed to industry standards. Use existing tie points or cable management to prevent strain on connectors and periodically inspect the jacket and connectors for damage. In environments with high electromagnetic noise, ensure proper grounding of system components to fully benefit from the S/FTP shielding.
