Sensor de luz (sensor fotoelétrico) Panasonic EQ502 série de triangulação EQ500 com alcance de deteção de 1 m

The Panasonic EQ502 is a triangulation light sensor from the EQ500 series, designed to detect objects and measure reflected light at a sensing range of up to 1 m. The sensor uses triangulation principles to determine presence or distance without contact, making it suitable for industrial automation tasks such as positioning, inline inspection and pick-and-place systems. Its optical detection method supports applications that require fast response and reliable detection of target surfaces within the specified range.

Advantages

The EQ502 provides non-contact detection through reflected-light triangulation, enabling precise distance or presence measurements within a one-meter range. Its design from Panasonic’s EQ500 series focuses on stability and repeatable detection in automated environments. The sensor is suitable for integration into systems where optical measurement reduces mechanical wear and allows for high-speed operation.

Suitable for

• Inline inspection and optical quality control
• Pick-and-place positioning and object presence checks
• Non-contact safety monitoring and simple distance sensing

Key specifications

• Sensing principle: triangulation reflected-light detection
• Sensing range: up to 1 metre
• Application area: object detection, presence and distance measurement
• Typical use environment: industrial automation and positioning systems

How to use

Install the EQ502 so its optical axis is aligned with the target area and ensure the sensing distance does not exceed 1 m. Configure the sensor mounting and orientation to receive reflected light from the target surface; adjust system integration parameters according to the automation controller or interface used. Verify detection performance by testing typical target materials and positions within the operational range and make any necessary alignment or sensitivity adjustments as part of system commissioning.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, verify that target surfaces provide sufficient reflectivity for triangulation detection and avoid mounting positions with strong ambient light sources directly facing the sensor. Use stable mechanical mounts and perform initial calibration within the intended production environment to ensure repeatable detection and accurate positioning.
