Adaptador de rede Keystone Cat.6A STP ClampFix S/CONN 08-10034

The ShiverPeaks Network Adapter Keystone Cat.6A STP ClampFix (S/CONN) is a keystone-format shielded connector designed for Cat6A installations where high-speed, low-interference data transmission is required. The adapter supports shielded twisted-pair cabling and provides a compact keystone form factor for mounting into patch panels, wall plates, or surface-mount boxes. Its ClampFix termination method secures conductors and shielding to maintain consistent electrical contact and mechanical stability for long-term network performance.

Advantages

The shielded construction reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting reliable 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance over Cat6A cabling. The Keystone format offers compatibility with standard keystone openings, enabling flexible installation in different faceplates and panels. ClampFix termination simplifies wiring by providing a stable mechanical clamp that preserves shielding continuity and reduces the need for specialized tools during installation. The compact design contributes to space-efficient layouts in dense deployments.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet network runs requiring Cat6A STP performance
• Patch panels, modular faceplates, and surface-mount boxes with keystone openings
• Commercial and residential structured cabling installations where interference reduction is important
• Environments with high-density cabling that demand reliable mechanical connections

Key specifications

• Cable category compatibility: Cat6A shielded twisted pair (STP)
• Connector format: keystone module
• Termination method: ClampFix shielded clamp termination
• Data performance: supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet over Cat6A cabling
• Shielding: full connector shielding to maintain cable shield continuity
• Mechanical: compact keystone dimensions for standard mounting openings

How to use

Prepare the Cat6A STP cable by stripping the outer jacket and folding back the drain wire or foil shield according to installer practice. Insert the individual conductors into the ClampFix termination points following the required pinout for your network (T568A or T568B) and secure the clamp to establish both conductor and shield contact. Snap the keystone module into the chosen faceplate, patch panel, or surface-mount box until it locks in place. After termination, test the link with appropriate network test equipment to verify continuity, pair integrity, and performance metrics.

Recommendations

Use with properly rated Cat6A STP cable and maintain consistent shielding continuity from cable to connector. Avoid excessive bending near the termination point and verify pinout consistency across connected endpoints. For best results in high-density installations, label ports and test each link after termination to confirm 10GbE performance.
