Splitter de cabo Extralink Splitter 1:16 PLC 900um sem ficha 1m

EXTRALINK PLC 1:16 0.9mm fibre optic splitter without connectors is a compact PLC splitter designed for FTTH networks to distribute a single optical signal to multiple clients. Built with a 0.9 mm pigtail fiber and housed in a steel box, the device provides symmetrical 1:16 power distribution and is supplied without input or output connectors. The unit is packed in a blister to prevent cable tangling and has a 1 m pigtail length.

Advantages

The PLC splitter offers uniform 1:16 power splitting, a compact steel enclosure for straightforward installation in switches and fiber organizers, and a thin 0.9 mm pigtail that simplifies routing and placement. Supplied without connectors, it allows flexible connectorization on site to match existing infrastructure. Blister packaging reduces cable damage and tangling during storage and transport.

Suitable for

• FTTH (fiber to the home) network distribution
• Passive Optical Network (PON) split deployments
• Telecommunication and broadband access points requiring 1:16 splitting
• Fiber management panels and compact enclosures where space is limited

How to use

Prepare the installation site and fiber management tray. Route the 0.9 mm pigtail through the organizer and secure the steel housing in the chosen mount point. Terminate or splice the pigtail ends to the required connectors or directly to patch fibers following standard fiber optic procedures and safety practices. Ensure all splices and terminations are protected inside splice trays or adapter panels.

Recommendations

Handle the 0.9 mm pigtail with care to avoid excessive bending; follow standard minimum bend radius guidelines for single-mode fiber. Perform connectorization or splicing in a clean environment and test each output with an optical power meter to confirm balanced distribution and acceptable loss levels.
