Termómetro infravermelho sem contacto HoMedics TE-450-EU — medição de temperatura sem contacto, resposta rápida

HoMedics TE-450-EU is a no-touch infrared thermometer designed for non-contact temperature measurement with a fast response. The device measures forehead and surface temperatures quickly and without physical contact, reducing the risk of cross-contamination and enabling hygienic checks for home use, childcare and basic screening. The compact, lightweight design and intuitive single‑button operation make it suitable for quick spot checks and everyday monitoring.

Advantages

The thermometer delivers rapid readings in seconds using infrared sensing, so you can obtain temperature values without touching the skin. Its non-contact operation minimizes the need for cleaning between measurements and helps maintain hygiene when testing multiple people. The simple control scheme and clear display support straightforward use by caregivers and parents, while the compact footprint makes the device easy to store or carry.

Suitable for

• Home temperature checks for adults and children
• Childcare settings and nursery monitoring
• Quick screening at entry points and reception areas
• Measuring surface temperature of objects or liquids

Key specifications

• Measurement type: non-contact infrared
• Measurement target: forehead and surfaces
• Response time: fast reading (seconds)
• Display: digital LCD for numeric temperature readout
• Operation: single-button or simple control interface
• Power source: battery powered (replaceable)
• Design: compact and lightweight handheld housing

How to use

Point the infrared sensor at the centre of the forehead or at the target surface from the recommended distance, then press the measurement button. Hold the device steady until the reading is displayed on the screen. For forehead measurements, ensure hair and sweat are cleared from the measurement area and avoid taking a reading immediately after exposure to extreme temperatures to reduce measurement error. For surface temperature, aim at a flat, representative area and keep the specified measurement distance consistent.

Recommendations

For reliable results, follow the manufacturer's guidance on measurement distance and ambient conditions. Use the device indoors within stable room temperatures when possible, allow time for the thermometer to acclimatize after moving between significantly different temperatures, and replace batteries as needed to maintain consistent performance.
