Termostato para radiador Milesight WT101-868M válvula inteligente LoRaWAN para controlo de aquecimento, 868 MHz

The Milesight WT101-868M LoRaWAN smart valve is a radiator thermostat designed for remote temperature and heating valve control over 868 MHz networks. It fits common radiator valve bodies and communicates via LoRaWAN to enable scheduling, setpoint adjustments and centralized management through compatible gateways and platforms. The device provides automated regulation of room temperature and allows remote intervention to optimize energy use and maintain occupant comfort in apartments and multi-zone building installations.

Advantages

The smart valve supports low-power LoRaWAN communication at 868 MHz, offering long-range connectivity and reduced infrastructure requirements compared with short-range wireless controls. It integrates with building management platforms for remote scheduling, setpoint changes and monitoring, enabling centralized control of multiple radiator valves. The thermostat is designed for simple mechanical compatibility with standard radiator valve fittings and delivers precise temperature regulation through motorized valve actuation.

Suitable for

• Apartment heating control and individual room temperature management
• Multi-dwelling or commercial buildings with centralized LoRaWAN gateways
• Energy optimization projects and retrofit of existing radiator systems
• Remote monitoring and scheduling of heating zones

Key specifications

• Wireless protocol: LoRaWAN, 868 MHz frequency band
• Mounting compatibility: standard manual radiator valve bodies (thermostatic valve adapters commonly used in residential radiators)
• Control type: motorized valve actuation for setpoint-based temperature regulation
• Power characteristics: low-power design suitable for battery operation (device optimized for long battery life)
• Functions: scheduling, remote setpoint adjustment, integration with LoRaWAN gateways and platforms
• Environmental: designed for indoor use on water radiators and central heating systems

How to use

Install the smart valve on the radiator by removing the existing thermostatic head and fitting the device to the valve body using the appropriate mechanical adapter if required. Commission the device through a compatible LoRaWAN gateway and add it to the management platform according to the gateway or platform instructions. Configure schedules and temperature setpoints via the platform or supported network server, then verify valve operation through remote commands and local temperature response. Replace batteries following the platform alerts or device indicators to maintain continuous operation.

Recommendations

Locate radiators with good LoRaWAN coverage and ensure a compatible gateway is within range for reliable communication. For optimal temperature control, combine the device with room temperature sensors or a building management system that provides accurate ambient measurements. When retrofitting older valves, confirm mechanical compatibility and use the appropriate adapter to secure a proper seal and reliable actuation.
