Tinteiro Epson T54C Magenta SURELAB SL-D500

The Epson T54C Magenta cartridge is an original magenta ink supply created for use with the SURELAB SL-D500 printer. It contains pigment-based magenta ink formulated to produce saturated, long-lasting magenta tones for photographic prints and proofs. The cartridge is engineered for straightforward installation and stable output, delivering consistent colour density across high-volume print runs while providing resistance to fading and environmental factors.

Advantages

This original Epson cartridge offers predictable colour reproduction and reliable performance when paired with the SURELAB SL-D500. Pigment-based magenta ink improves lightfastness and print durability compared with dye-based alternatives. The cartridge design supports simple replacement and minimises downtime during production, while factory calibration helps maintain colour consistency across batches.

Suitable for

• Professional photo labs producing portrait, event and fine art prints
• High-volume print environments requiring consistent magenta tones
• Proofing and test prints where accurate colour matching is important

Key specifications

• Ink type: Pigment-based magenta ink designed for photographic output
• Compatibility: Specifically for use with SURELAB SL-D500 photo printers
• Performance: Engineered for stable colour density over extended print runs
• Durability: Improved resistance to fading for long-term image preservation
• Installation: Cartridge format designed for fast replacement with minimal handling

How to use

Turn off the SURELAB SL-D500 or follow printer instructions for cartridge replacement. Open the printer access panel, remove the empty magenta cartridge according to the device guide, and install the new Epson T54C magenta cartridge until it clicks into position. Close the access panel and allow the printer to complete any automatic priming or calibration cycles before starting a production job. For optimal results, run a nozzle check and colour calibration if the printer menu indicates these maintenance steps.

Recommendations

Store unopened cartridges in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Use within the period recommended by the manufacturer after opening and follow the SURELAB SL-D500 maintenance schedule to preserve print quality. For critical colour work, perform printer calibration and test prints after cartridge replacement to confirm expected colour output.
