Tomada RJ-45 Rutenbeck UM-Cat.6A cinzento

The Rutenbeck UM-Cat.6A Grey RJ-45 socket outlet is a compact network connection module designed for Cat6A structured cabling systems. Crafted from durable polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) in a neutral grey finish, this outlet supports shielded twisted pair (STP) cable installations and is intended for low-voltage network environments. Its small footprint and standard outlet dimensions make it compatible with typical installation boxes and faceplates, providing a stable female RJ-45 termination for high-speed Ethernet links.

Advantages

The socket outlet combines PBT housing for mechanical resilience with support for STP cable to maintain signal integrity in environments with potential electromagnetic interference. Its rated electrical values are appropriate for low-voltage data applications, and the compact dimensions allow for discreet installation in cabinets, wall boxes, or patch panels. The IP21 protection class offers basic protection against solid objects and vertical dripping water, suitable for many indoor commercial and residential installations.

How to use

Install the RJ-45 socket outlet into a compatible mounting frame or flush-mount box following standard structured cabling procedures. Ensure the STP cable is prepared with correct shielding termination and that pair alignment follows the Cat6A wiring scheme. Secure the outlet mechanically and verify continuity and shielding with appropriate cable testers before commissioning. Follow applicable local electrical and cabling codes during installation.

Recommendations

Use this outlet with properly shielded Cat6A cabling and grounded patch panels or faceplates to preserve shielding effectiveness. Avoid exposure to direct water spray or outdoor conditions beyond the IP21 rating. For optimal performance, perform certification testing after installation to confirm link performance for the intended Ethernet speed.
