LevelOne SFP-3001 is a multi-mode SFP transceiver for Gigabit Ethernet and fiber channel applications. It supports a bidirectional data transfer rate up to 1.25 Gbps over a single duplex fiber core and is compatible with 50/62.5 µm multimode fiber for links up to 500–550 meters. The module uses an 850 nm VCSEL light source, requires a single +3.3 V power supply and conforms to relevant industry standards including IEEE 802.3z, MSA and EN 60825-1 for laser safety.

How to use

Insert the SFP-3001 module into a compatible SFP slot on a switch, router or transceiver-capable port until it latches; connect duplex multimode LC fiber cables (50/62.5 µm) to the module ports, ensuring correct TX/RX orientation. Apply a +3.3 V supply through the host device; no additional configuration software is required.
