Cabo de fibra ótica EFB Elektronik O0320.15 15 m LC SC laranja

The EFB Elektronik O0320.15 is a 15 m OM2 multimode fibre optic cable with LC and SC connectors in an orange jacket. Designed for duplex data transmission, this fibre cable uses a 50 µm core diameter to support typical multimode network deployments and short- to medium-range links. The orange colour provides clear identification in structured cabling and patch panels while maintaining standard multimode optical performance.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable combines LC and SC connector types to provide compatibility with a range of networking equipment. The OM2 50 µm multimode construction supports reliable high-speed communication over campus, data centre, and office horizontal cabling. The 15 m length offers flexibility for patching and inter-rack connections without additional splices, and the bright orange jacket simplifies cable management and fault-finding in dense installations.

Suitable for

• Horizontal patching between switches and patch panels
• Inter-rack connections in server rooms and data centres
• Multimode optical links for enterprise LAN and campus networks
• Test and temporary installations where a visible cable is useful

Key specifications

• Fibre type: Multimode OM2
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Length: 15 m
• Connector 1: LC (duplex)
• Connector 2: SC (duplex)
• Jacket colour: Orange
• Transmission: Full duplex

How to use

Connect the LC end to equipment that accepts LC connectors and the SC end to corresponding SC ports or patch panel sockets, ensuring connector alignment and cleanliness before mating. Route the cable along cable trays or through cable management channels to prevent sharp bends; maintain minimum bend radii recommended for multimode fibre to avoid increased attenuation. For repeated installations, use dust caps until connectors are inserted and inspect connectors with appropriate tools if signal issues occur.

Recommendations

Store the cable coiled without tight loops and protect connector ends with caps when not in use. Use cleaning swabs or fibre cleaning tools to remove dust from LC and SC connectors before connection. Avoid tight bends and mechanical stress; keep multimode links within recommended distances for OM2 to ensure expected signal quality.
