Caixa Rittal SV 9677.400, policarbonato, preto, uma peça

Rittal SV 9677.400 is a single-piece black enclosure made from polycarbonate (PC). Designed as a lightweight, impact-resistant housing, it protects electrical and electronic components in applications where a non-metallic casing is preferred. The enclosure offers physical protection and basic environmental resistance while ensuring contact hazard protection in the cable connection area.

Advantages

The polycarbonate construction provides high impact resistance and dimensional stability over a wide temperature range, while remaining lightweight compared with metal alternatives. Being non-conductive, the housing reduces the risk of electrical contact and is suitable for installations requiring contact hazard protection in the cable connection area. Its one-piece design simplifies installation and reduces potential points of ingress.

How to use

Mount the enclosure on a suitable surface or within a cabinet according to the mounting provisions of your installation. Route cables into the designated cable entry zone and secure cable glands or conduit as required to maintain contact hazard protection. Install internal components on the provided mounting points or internal fixtures, ensuring adequate clearance for ventilation and wiring. Close and secure the enclosure according to the application’s sealing and accessibility requirements.

Recommendations

Use appropriate cable glands or conduit fittings to preserve contact hazard protection at cable entries and to maintain the enclosure’s protective function. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct UV without additional protection and follow local regulations for electrical enclosures and component separation.
