Conector F coaxial ShiverPeaks BS15-300114

The ShiverPeaks BS15-300114 F-type coaxial connector is a two-piece pack designed for establishing reliable RF connections in audio and video installations. Each connector uses the common F-type interface to provide a secure threaded coaxial connection suitable for televisions, set-top boxes, satellite receivers and cable modems. The design focuses on maintaining signal integrity and straightforward installation for domestic and light-commercial use.

Advantages

These F-type coaxial connectors provide a stable mechanical and electrical connection that helps reduce signal loss and minimize interference across the cable run. The threaded F-type coupling ensures firm contact and prevents accidental disconnection. Supplied as a two-piece set, the connectors offer consistent quality for pairing multiple devices or replacing worn fittings in an existing system.

Suitable for

• Home TV and home theater coaxial connections
• Cable and satellite receiver installations
• Connecting set-top boxes and DVB equipment
• Repairing or upgrading in-home coaxial cabling

Key specifications

• Connector type: F-type coaxial
• Pack quantity: 2 connectors
• Application: RF signal transmission for audio/video and data
• Connection method: Threaded coupling for secure attachment
• Compatibility: Standard 75 Ohm coaxial cables and devices

How to use

Prepare the coaxial cable by stripping the outer jacket and folding back the braid to expose the dielectric and centre conductor according to the connector’s installation requirements. Slide the connector onto the cable and engage the threaded coupling by turning until firmly seated, ensuring the centre conductor makes good contact with the connector pin. After installation, test the connection by checking the signal on the connected device and re-tighten if necessary to eliminate intermittent contact.

Recommendations

For best results, use these F-type connectors with standard 75 Ohm coaxial cable and avoid over-tightening the threaded coupling. Inspect cables and connectors periodically for corrosion or physical damage and replace connectors if signal degradation is observed.
