Fita Tesa 4590 50 m Fibra de vidro Polietileno tereftalato (PET)

tesa® 4590 is a unidirectional filament tape consisting of glass filaments laminated to a polyester (PET) film. With a tensile strength of 250 N/mm² and dimensions of 19 mm × 50 m, this tape is designed for industrial bundling, palletizing and fixing applications, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Advantages

The construction of glass filaments on a PET carrier provides high tensile strength and resistance to elongation while remaining thin and easy to handle. The tape adheres reliably to materials such as metal, polycarbonate, polypropylene and wood, offering consistent performance during bundling, closing and fastening operations.

Suitable for

• Industrial bundling of cables and components
• Palletizing and securing packed goods
• Fixing and reinforcing packages for transportation
• Temporary fastening and closing of cartons and crates

Key specifications

• Brand: Tesa
• Model / MPN: 04590-00000-00
• EAN: 4042448210371
• Material: Glass filaments laminated to PET (polyethylene terephthalate) film
• Tensile strength: 250 N/mm²
• Width × Length: 19 mm × 50 m
• Type: Unidirectional filament tape

How to use

Cut or dispense the tape to the required length and apply the filament side along the direction of the load to maximize tensile performance. Press the adhesive side firmly onto clean, dry surfaces to ensure good contact. For palletizing, wrap the tape around the load with sufficient tension and overlap to maintain stability during handling and transport.

Recommendations

Store the tape in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. For best results clean surfaces of dust, oil and moisture before application. Test adhesion on a small area when using on sensitive or painted surfaces.
