Why choose it

High thermal sensitivity below 40 mK reveals even subtle temperature differences, crucial for preventive maintenance and building diagnostics. The responsive touchscreen simplifies menu navigation and image analysis, while Wi-Fi connectivity allows instant transfer to a PC or mobile device for reporting. A robust IP54-rated housing and 2-meter drop resistance ensure reliability in demanding environments.

Ideal use cases

• Electrical inspections: identify loose connections, overloaded circuits, and faulty components.
• Mechanical maintenance: monitor motors, bearings, and pumps for abnormal heat.
• Building thermography: detect insulation gaps, moisture, and HVAC issues.
• Research and development: capture precise thermal data for product testing.

Good to know

The WB-420 stores radiometric JPEG images, allowing post-capture temperature analysis without additional software. Its long battery life supports a full workday, and the integrated 5 MP visual camera provides clear reference images alongside thermal shots. A laser pointer aids in targeting specific measurement points.
