Adaptador de vídeo/áudio BNC ShiverPeaks 98812 — adaptador conector macho BNC para sinais de áudio e vídeo

The ShiverPeaks Adapter Video/Audio BNC 98812 is a compact connector adapter designed to link BNC-terminated cables with IEC-terminated devices for analogue and digital audio and video transmissions. Intended for CCTV, broadcast, monitoring and AV installations, this adapter provides a straightforward mechanical and electrical junction to assist with signal routing, on-site repairs and system integration without requiring cable replacement.

Advantages

The adapter offers a compact form factor that simplifies connections in tight installation spaces and reduces downtime during repairs. It provides a reliable mechanical connection between BNC and IEC interfaces and supports both audio and video signals over standard BNC cabling. The adapter is easy to connect and disconnect, enabling quick changes to system topology and flexible routing during installation or troubleshooting.

Suitable for

• CCTV camera installations and security monitoring systems
• Broadcast and live production signal routing
• Audio/visual setups in conference and meeting rooms
• Temporary on-site repairs and field testing of BNC lines
• Integration of legacy analogue equipment with modern cabling

Key specifications

• Connector types: BNC to IEC (adapter for BNC to IEC connection)
• Signal support: analogue and digital audio/video signals via BNC cabling
• Form factor: compact inline adapter suitable for tight spaces
• Use cases: designed for CCTV, broadcast, monitoring and AV installations

How to use

Connect the BNC-terminated cable to the BNC side of the adapter and plug the IEC connector into the corresponding IEC receptacle on the device or cable. Ensure connectors are fully seated to maintain proper mechanical and electrical contact. Use the adapter in-line with existing BNC cabling when temporary conversion or routing is required; do not apply excessive force when mating or unmating connectors to avoid damage.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the adapter in clean, dry environments and inspect connector interfaces for debris or corrosion before connection. When used in permanent installations, verify signal integrity after insertion and perform routine checks to ensure secure mechanical contact. The adapter is suitable for temporary conversions and routine field work; for long-term or outdoor installations consider additional weatherproofing at the connection point.
