Módulo de alimentação AC/DC Mean Well IRM-90-12ST, fechado, 12 V DC 6,7 A 80,4 W

Mean Well IRM-90-12ST is an enclosed AC/DC power module that provides a regulated 12 V DC output with a maximum current of 6.7 A and rated output power of 80.4 W. The compact, fully enclosed design is intended for installation inside racks, chassis or equipment housings where a reliable fixed-voltage supply is required. The module accepts a wide AC input range and includes protection features for safe operation in industrial and embedded applications.

Advantages

The enclosed construction reduces exposure to dust and accidental contact while easing integration into systems that require a compact power block. Regulation and protection functions maintain stable output under varying loads and prevent damage from common electrical faults. The standardized 12 V fixed output simplifies system design for devices and control electronics that require this supply voltage.

Suitable for

• Embedded systems and single-board computers requiring a 12 V regulated supply
• Industrial control cabinets and automation equipment
• Communication devices and network equipment mounted in chassis
• OEM devices and rack-mounted assemblies with constrained space

Key specifications

• Output voltage: 12 V DC (fixed)
• Maximum output current: 6.7 A
• Output power: 80.4 W
• Enclosed metal/plastic housing suited for internal installation
• Universal AC input range suitable for common mains voltages
• Built-in protection features such as overcurrent, overvoltage and short-circuit protection

How to use

Install the module inside the equipment enclosure or rack following the device manufacturer's mounting guidelines and ensuring adequate clearance for ventilation. Connect the AC input to the appropriate mains supply using proper wiring and strain relief, and route the 12 V DC output to the load using suitably rated cabling and connectors. Verify correct polarity at the output before powering the connected electronics. Allow the module to operate within its specified input and ambient temperature ranges for reliable performance.

Recommendations

Place the module away from heat sources and ensure airflow around the enclosure to maintain thermal dissipation. Use fuses or circuit breakers on the AC input when integrating into larger systems and verify that downstream wiring and connectors are rated for the maximum 6.7 A output current.
