Phoenix 0421016 AKG 4 BU Borne de passagem, azul, ligação por parafuso, 4 mm², 32 A, 800 V

The Phoenix 0421016 AKG 4 BU stands out in the terminal block market with its robust screw connection technology and compact feed-through design, engineered for reliable power distribution in control cabinets and industrial installations. Unlike many generic terminals, this unit combines a high current rating of 32 A with a wide conductor range from 0.2 to 4 mm², making it versatile for both solid and stranded wires. Its blue housing provides clear visual identification for neutral conductors, while the polyamide insulation ensures long-term durability and safety in demanding environments.

Highlights

• Feed-through terminal block with screw connection for secure, vibration-resistant wiring
• Rated for 32 A nominal current and 800 V nominal voltage (IEC), suitable for industrial power circuits
• Accepts conductor cross-sections from 0.2 to 4 mm² (solid or stranded) and 24 to 12 AWG
• Blue polyamide (PA) housing, UL 94 V0 flammability rated, for clear identification and fire safety
• Mounts on standard DIN rails (NS 35/7.5 and NS 35/15) for quick installation
• Wide operating temperature range from -60 °C to 105 °C, ideal for harsh environments
• Pollution degree 3 and overvoltage category III with 8 kV rated surge voltage for enhanced protection

In daily use

Installing the AKG 4 BU is straightforward: snap it onto a DIN rail, insert your conductor, and tighten the screw to achieve a gas-tight connection that resists loosening under vibration. The two connection points allow a simple pass-through of power or signal, while the blue color coding helps electricians quickly identify neutral lines in complex panels. Its compact footprint saves space, and the high-quality PA housing resists chemicals and abrasion, ensuring a long service life even in industrial settings.
