Weidmüller WDU 2.5 OR Borne de passagem, ligação por parafuso, 2,5 mm², laranja

The Weidmüller WDU 2.5 OR is a feed-through terminal block engineered for reliable connectivity in industrial control panels and distribution systems. Unlike standard terminal blocks that may compromise on material quality or ease of wiring, this unit combines a robust Wemid (PA 66) insulation body with a screw connection system that accommodates a wide range of conductor sizes. Its orange housing provides high visibility for quick identification in dense wiring environments, while the compact design allows efficient use of DIN rail space. Whether you are building new control cabinets or retrofitting existing installations, the WDU 2.5 OR delivers consistent performance and long-term durability.

Highlights

• Nominal cross-section of 2.5 mm² with support for solid, stranded, and fine-stranded conductors up to 4 mm²
• Screw connection technology ensures a secure, vibration-resistant termination
• Rated for 800 V and 24 A according to IEC, suitable for a broad range of industrial applications
• Flammability rating UL 94 V-0 and operating temperature range from -50 °C to +120 °C
• Mounts on standard TS 35 DIN rail for quick and tool-free installation

In daily use

Installation is straightforward: strip the conductor to 10 mm, insert it into the clamping unit, and tighten the screw to a torque between 0.4 and 0.8 Nm. The terminal block accepts solid wires from 0.5 to 4 mm², stranded wires from 0.5 to 4 mm², and fine-stranded wires with ferrule from 0.5 to 2.5 mm². Its single potential and two connections make it ideal for feed-through wiring in distribution blocks, control circuits, and power supply lines. The Wemid insulation offers excellent mechanical strength and chemical resistance, ensuring reliable performance even in harsh industrial environments.
