How to use

Mount the MFM-05-12 directly onto the printed circuit board according to the manufacturer’s PCB layout and soldering guidelines. Connect the AC input within the specified 80–264 Vac range and take care to observe correct polarity on the 12 Vdc output. Ensure that the open-frame supply is placed to allow sufficient clearance for ventilation and that creepage and clearance distances on the PCB meet applicable medical safety requirements.

Recommendations

For medical applications, verify system-level compliance and perform required safety tests. Maintain adequate creepage/clearance, follow MEAN WELL’s recommended PCB footprint and soldering procedures, and provide appropriate fusing and transient protection on the AC input where required.
